On 11 February, 1947, Shinreikyo was founded in the city of Nishinomiya, Japan. Since this time, countless miracles have occurred and have proven the truth of the Shinreikyo teachings. These miracles show that the Divine Power can save people throughout the three stages of existence: the past, present, and future. If people live in accordance with the Divine Way (the Truth), they will obtain true happiness and everlasting prosperity. So many miracles have occurred that Shinreikyo is sometimes called the Fountainhead of Miracles and "the transcendent religion based on actual proof of salvation".
