I lived a life of misery caused by congenital asthma. Whenever I had a severe attack, even strong medicine had no effect, and I had to endure the agony of near suffocation. Then I encountered Shinreikyo.
Two weeks after joining, I had a headache like I had never experienced before, and at the same time my skull started expanding. Around the second month, when these phenomena increased in intensity, I felt my brain cells dividing and moving, a sensation that could be likened to the bubbles that erupt when boiling water. Then on many occasions I felt my spine being straightened, in the manner of a steel wire being pulled taught with great force. My shoulders and breastbone moved while emitting sounds that were clearly audible. After that my whole breastbone widened, and my shoulders broadened, freeing me from the characteristic rounded shoulders of asthma patients. One time I asked my mother to see if my backbone were really moving, and she confirmed that it was so.
Subsequently this improvement in my skeletal structure allowed me to engage in strenuous physical activity without any asthma. My skull continued to expand even after that, and my formerly nervous and introverted personality became optimistic and easygoing.
